Fleenor Security Systems began its business in 1972, specializing in residential security system design, installation, and central station monitoring. We have, over these many years, developed a reputation throughout our service area as the premier provider of residential security system services. We design our residential intrusion detection systems to meet your specific needs; we do not believe in "one size fits all" packages or $99 Specials. Our Representative meets with you, evaluates your home's layout, your protection priorities, your lifestyle as it affects security system operation and use, and your Central Station communication needs, tailoring a design that accomplishes all the above at a reasonable cost.

Intrusion detection systems are generally made up of:

• Control Panel. The computer that manages all field devices, placed throughout your home, communicates signals to our Central Station, and provides battery back-up in the event of a power failure.
• Key-pad(s). The devices that allows you to interact with the control panel for arming, disarming, and other operating functions.
• Field Devices. Such as door and window contacts, motion and glassbreak detectors, and indoor and outdoor sirens. Contacts will detect a door or window as it opens. Motion detectors are used in high traffic areas to provide another layer of protection beyond the perimeter protection offered by the window and door protection. Glassbreak detectors are placed in rooms with casement windows and/or fixed glass areas. These devices can sense the physical vibration and the audio frequency of breaking glass. Sirens, of course, alert you of an intrusion and also ward off the intruder.
