Commercial Intrusion Detection

Fleenor Security Systems has been serving our commercial Customers since 1972, providing full turnkey security system solutions, to include perimeter and space intrusion detection and central station monitoring, video surveillance, and door access, as well as systems that integrate all the aforementioned functionalities. Intrusion detection will be the focus of this page; the other technologies are covered elsewhere on this site.

Fleenor Security provides systems that are very scalable; the same system that serves a convenience store can be expanded to serve a 50,000 square foot facility. We are exclusive dealers of the Honeywell First Alert product line of security system products. All systems carry Underwriters Laboratories(UL) ratings for mercantile use.

Intrusion detection systems are generally made up of:

• Control Panel. The computer that manages all field devices, placed throughout your business, communicates signals to our Central Station, and provides battery back-up in the event of a power failure.
• Key-pad(s). The devices that allows you to interact with the control panel for arming, disarming, and other operating functions.
• Field devices. Such as door and window contacts, motion and glassbreak detectors, and indoor and outdoor sirens. Contacts will detect a door or window as it opens. Motion detectors are used in high traffic areas to provide another layer of protection beyond the perimeter protection offered by the window and door protection. Glassbreak detectors are placed in areas with casement windows and/or fixed glass. These devices can sense the physical vibration and the audio frequency of breaking glass. Sirens, of course, alert you of an intrusion and also ward off the intruder.

Our Customers find the Fleenor Security Central Station 24/7 Monitoring Service to be a huge benefit, not only because there is around the clock monitoring of your facility, but also because we will provide you with other services to include "openings/closings" reports, which tell you as a manager who is arming and disarming the system everyday and when they do it, and "schedules" which advises you when an authorized user is arming/disarming a system when they are not supposed to, or when a system is left disarmed when it shouldn't be.
