Commercial Fire Detection

Fleenor Security Systems is a dealer for a number of Commercial UL-rated fire detection systems, most notably Honeywell's Notifier, Silent Knight, and First Alert products. We offer full turn-key services to include system design, AHJ interface, government agency permitting, product sale and installation, project management, inspection, maintenance, and monitoring.

Our management is NICET-certified to meet any regulatory requirements our Customer would deal with in procuring a system. Our design and sales staff receives continuous training in all available and developing fire detection system technologies and regulatory changes as they occur. This training emphasizes, in particular, the relevant requirements put forward by the National Fire Protection Acts, specifically contained in Codes 72 and 101. This represents quite an investment on the Company's part, but it is worth the effort, given the highly technical and complex world Commercial fire detection represents.

We have never delayed a building occupancy because of a Fleenor Security-contributed work effort associated with fire detection systems. We operate on Customer time, whether that Customer is an end user, Fire Marshal, or Contractor.

Commercial fire detection systems are generally made up of:

• UL-rated fire detection control panel, the "brains" of the system.
• Remote annunciator, the device the Customer uses to interact with the control panel.
• Smoke and heat detectors, generally placed throughout building not protected by sprinkler systems and in HVAC duct systems.
• Pull stations. Placed at egress doors.
• Notification appliances, specifically strobe horns/speakers, strobe lights, and bells, placed where your employees can see at least one wherever they are.
• Sprinkler system switches for your sprinkler system risers, so that we can monitor for vandalism and flowing water.
• Voice evacuation systems. Placed in particular settings where building occupancy load dictates it.

Again, we will design your fire detection system to meet your specific needs, interact with the Fire Marshal for design approval, obtain permits, install the system, and train you in its use. Our goal is to make this process "pain-free" for you, our valued Customer.
