Door Access
Fleenor Security's access control systems can protect your building perimeter, assets, and employees. These systems allow you to control the flow of visitors and employees through your facility.

We offer a full range of door access control products to include, but not limited to, those manufactured by Linear, HID, GE Security, Locknetics, Securitron, IdentiCard, Cassi/Rusco, and Hirsch. We design door access systems for our clients, construct bid specifications, and provide full turn-key services, to include access control product installation, project management, door lock retrofitting, access card programming, administration data base building, and system training. After sales services are available on all our products.
There are basically two kinds of door access control technologies: standalone systems that can be administered at the "door level" either manually or via computer terminal, and multi-door systems that are computer-controlled and allow for a variety of door access devices, e.g. keypads, reader/keypads, proximity card readers (cards, fobs), or biometrics readers (thumb, hand, retinal, etc).
We offer, primarily, the Linear or HID Edge products for one or two door applications. In the mid-range environment (four to sixteen doors), we offer GE's Topaz door access control technology. In the large-scale project (many doors), we offer IdentiCard and Hirsch products.
Gate Access
Customers want to control vehicle and/or personnel access to their property, generally with barrier, slide, or swing gates. Fleenor Security can provide you the operators and control hardware for the gate(s) or if you have equipment installed by others we can service and enhance what you have.
Most controlled gates have the following essential elements, which we provide:
- Vehicle sensing devices (safety and exit loops, probes, or beams)
- Operators that "drive" the physical gate open and closed.
- Communication devices, e.g intercom, video
- Access control devices, e.g. bar code and proximity card readers, keypads
- Emergency vehicle access equipment, e.g. siren-operated sensors
- Pedestals to mount card readers, intercoms, etc.
Gate access control design and installation considerations would include such things as:
- Type of gate: swing, barrier, slide, turnstyle
- Length and weight of gate
- Number of open/close cycles per day
- Road surface composition at gate, e.g. concrete, asphalt, macadam, etc.
- Methods for bringing control, communication, and power wire to the gate
- Requirements for connecting access control devices to internal networks
